ABOUT TTS
Tip of the Spear Consulting LLC (TTS) is a veteran-owned small business providing mission-focused training, operational support, exercise support, staffing, and specialized services to U.S. Government and industry partners.
TTS was founded on a simple principle: bring experienced people, disciplined execution, and responsive support to demanding missions.
Our leadership brings more than three decades of U.S. Government service and extensive experience across Special Operations, training, aviation, high-risk instruction, exercise planning, contractor operations, and organizational leadership.
As TTS grows, our focus remains the same—understand the customer's requirement, assemble the right team, and execute to standard.

Special Operations & Training
Special Operations training, high-risk instruction, role-player scenario execution, including selection and assessment support, tactical & aviation training, and Personnel Recovery/SERE instruction.
Exercise & Program Support
Exercise planning and execution built for complex training environments, including MSEL development, EXCON and white-cell support, curriculum development, and program management with quality assurance.
Staffing & Operational Support
SME and instructor staffing, program and site leadership, and recruiting support built around the right people for the mission, including contract-performance support and mission-specific personnel solutions.
Federal Mission Support
TTS supports select federal requirements beyond its core training focus, contributing program management and qualified execution partners across logistics, equipment, and administrative support.
LEADERSHIP
Johnathan Logan | Founder
Johnathan Logan founded Tip of the Spear Consulting following more than 30 years of U.S. Government service, including 25 years in the U.S. Army and more than 16 years in Special Operations.
His experience spans Special Operations aviation, high-risk training, selection and assessment, Personnel Recovery/SERE, exercise planning, contractor operations, and organizational leadership. During his military career, he served in progressively senior leadership positions through Battalion and Brigade Command Sergeant Major and was selected for the Army's Nominative Command Sergeant Major program before electing to retire.
Following military retirement, Johnathan spent approximately five years supporting MARSOC as a contract supervisor and instructor and later served as a Department of the Army civilian supervisor at the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School.
He holds a current TS/SCI clearance.
PARTNERING
TTS welcomes teaming relationships with prime contractors, small businesses, and specialized service providers supporting USSOCOM, Department of Defense, and other federal customers.
We are interested in relationships where TTS can contribute experienced personnel, specialized training capability, recruiting networks, program leadership, responsive staffing, or mission-focused execution.
TTS also develops relationships with qualified vendors and subcontractors capable of supporting complementary federal requirements.
